Export collected data directly from your smartphone or tablet!

Users of our GC Mobile app for Android have been able to export collected data since version 1.2.0 and we're working to make it easier for you to get your hands on your data with every update. Using a simple and flexible export screen you can get access to your data in CSV and XML. Media such as pictures, audio and video recordings can be included and all of the export files compressed into a convenient ZIP file.

Form data exported into CSV is tagged with the date that the form was created, last updated and the name of the author and person who last updated the form. Unique form IDs are included allowing your IT department to integrate exported data into other systems specific to your business.

Take advantage of Open Data Kit compatibility

GC Mobile also allows you to upload your completed forms to Open Data Kit (ODK) Aggregate for analysis and data export. ODK Aggregate is free software that provides a ready-to-deploy server repository to manage collected data, provide standard interfaces to extract data (e.g., spreadsheets, queries, etc.), and integrate with existing systems via web requests. ODK Aggregate is available as a locally-installable application or via Google’s App Engine allowing users to avoid the difficulties of setting up their own scalable web service.
