Registering Devices
Each device that uses Group Complete Mobile (GC Mobile) must be registered with a Group Complete account. This is the important bit that allows you to share forms and data with your team.
This article will guide you through the easy steps of creating your account, registering your first device and any additional devices for use by your team.
Creating An Account & Registering Your First Device
If you do not have an account then one will be created for you when you register your first device. Your first device can be registered in three easy steps immediately after installing GC Mobile. You do not need to use a web browser or log in to this site.
Q: Do I need more than one account?
A: Most businesses & organizations will only need one account. All devices should be registered with the account that you create when you register your first device. If your organization has unique billing needs or other concerns please contact us and we'll work with you to select the best option for your team.
The registration process will begin the first time that you launch GC Mobile. Click on the screenshots below for a guided tour.
Select "Register"
Choose "No" to create an account
Enter your email address!
The GC Mobile database will be set up after completing step #3. This should take less than 30 seconds. The database will be configured the first time that you install the app and occasionally after the app is upgraded.
That's it — you're off to the races!
Registering Additional Devices
The instructions below are for registering additional devices for use by your team. These steps can be followed independently by team members if they are provided with the account licence number and key, or by the account owner on behalf of your team. If you do not have an account please follow "Creating An Account & Registering Your First Device" before using these instructions.
The registration process will begin the first time that you launch GC Mobile. Click on the screenshots below for a guided tour.
Select "Register"
Select "Yes"
Enter your licence number & key
Select "New Device"
Enter the user's email address!
The GC Mobile database will be set up after completing step #3. This should take less than 30 seconds. The database will be configured the first time that you install the app and occasionally after the app is upgraded.
That's it — you'll be hooked up with the rest of your team and ready to go!
